The most frequent cause of a weak pilot flame (which will cause the gas to shut off) is a dirty pilot orifice.  Both Natural Gas and LP do contain some small particles and those can accumulate in/around the tiny orifice that feeds gas to the pilot.  On Orbis Mark II and III models, the Pilot gas supply is the middle of the 3 tubes that attach to the pilot and main gas assembly.  The orifice will be inside the brass fitting.  To replace, disconnect the middle tube.  In some cases, you can just tap the fitting with the handle of a screwdriver and the orifice will fall out.  Often, you will need to persuade it a little.  To do this, get a 1/4" drill bit, push it into the fitting until it bottoms, than turn the drill bit clockwise while moving it up/down and right/left.  This should free it up.  If that doesn't work, tap the drill bit lightly with your screwdriver so the sharp edges of the drill bit bite into the orifice, then turn.
